microSAIL! Radio Options

One of the Radio systems we prefer is the
Futaba
8UAP Programmable PCM Radios

PCM (Pulse Code Modulation)
PCM systems use digitally encoded signals to minimize interference and provide today's most advanced R/C control.
Factory modified for 75 Mhz Surface Use
Typically only 5 channels are used.
Rudder direction on the right thumb lever.
Sails in and out on the left thumb lever.
Jib trim adjustment.
Spinnaker hoist and douse on a top lever.
Spinnaker trim adjustment.
Extra Channels available for customizing.
Ballast movement side to side or fore and aft
(depending on stick and model)

CREWMATE Modules

Crew Mate Module provides 3 channels for
- Spinnaker hoist/douse/trim and ballast movement fore/aft.
   (Ballast movement is model dependent, not allowed by -)
    (some class rules)
- Provides for father/son or mother/daughter sailing teams.
- Connects to main radio via a flexible wire.
